General Formulations GF 401 – 3.0 mil Lustre Clear UV Laminate
Lustre semi-gloss protective laminate designed for digital and screen printed graphics.
The GF 401 from General Formulations is a 3.0 mil (≈ 76 µm) lustre clear vinyl laminate, coated with a permanent acrylic adhesive on a smooth 53# liner. Formulated for cold-laminating (no heat required), GF 401 protects printed graphics by resisting ultraviolet-light degradation, abrasion, and moisture.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Lustre Semi-Gloss Clear Finish: Delivers vibrant, dull-shine protection for signage and point-of-purchase displays.
- Robust Protection: The calendered PVC film enhances durability for indoor and outdoor graphics.
- Wide Outdoor Lifespan: Rated for up to 4–5 years in outdoor usage on flat surfaces.
- Cold-Laminate Friendly: No heat required during application—reduces risk of damage to printed images.
- Broad Ink Compatibility: Suitable for many digital print substrates; used as an over-laminate for exhibit, retail, and signage use.
Applications & Usage Guidance:
Ideal for flat or gently curved surfaces such as backlit signage, POP displays, exhibit graphics, and indoor/outdoor panels.
